Dailine – One Line, Every Day is an application developed by Antonio Yee. The app helps you capture one reflection or thought per day, privately and beautifully.

Information We Collect

Dailine is designed with privacy in mind. We do not create user accounts or build personal profiles. Depending on your settings, the app may process limited data to enable purchases and to improve stability and experience.

  • Purchases: Purchase and subscription status (via Apple / RevenueCat).
  • Usage analytics (optional): Anonymous app events such as screens viewed and feature usage, collected via Firebase Analytics.
  • Diagnostics & crashes: Crash reports and technical diagnostics (e.g., OS version, device model, stack traces, free space at crash) via Firebase Crashlytics.

How We Use Data

We use analytics (if enabled) to understand which features are helpful and to guide improvements. Diagnostics and crash reports help us detect issues and improve performance, reliability, and safety.

We configure Firebase for product analytics and crash reporting only. We do not use Firebase for advertising purposes.

Your Choices

  • Analytics toggle: You can turn analytics on/off in Dailine’s in-app Settings (if provided) or opt out at the OS level using Apple’s privacy controls.
  • Delete data: Delete your entries from within the app. iCloud data is managed by your Apple ID and iOS settings.

Security

Your journal entries are yours alone. Dailine stores data locally or in your private iCloud space (if enabled). We apply reasonable safeguards and rely on Apple, RevenueCat, and Google Firebase, which implement industry-standard security measures. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children’s Privacy

Dailine – One Line, Every Day is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us.

Data Retention

We do not maintain user profiles on our own servers. Purchase records are retained by Apple and/or RevenueCat according to their policies. Anonymous analytics and diagnostic data are retained by Firebase for periods consistent with their default or configured retention settings.

Data Sharing and Transfers

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the providers listed above to operate the app (purchases, analytics, diagnostics). These providers may process data on servers located outside your country. Where applicable, we take steps to rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page.
