Smart Compress: Photo Reducer is an application developed by Antonio Yee. By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

1. License of Use

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited, and revocable license to use Smart Compress: Photo Reducer on your Apple device, in accordance with these Terms and Apple’s App Store rules.

2. Intellectual Property

All designs, code, images, icons, text, and intellectual property within the app are owned by the developer. You may not copy, modify, sell, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works without written permission.

3. One-Time Purchase (No Subscriptions)

  • Smart Compress: Photo Reducer uses a one-time purchase model. Once purchased, the full functionality is unlocked permanently for your Apple ID.
  • There are no recurring fees, subscriptions, or renewals within the app.
  • Prices may vary by region and taxes as determined by Apple.
  • Payment is processed securely through Apple’s App Store.
  • You may restore your purchase on another device using your Apple ID via the “Restore Purchases” option (if provided).

4. Privacy

Smart Compress: Photo Reducer processes and compresses your photos locally on your device. We do not upload your photos to external servers.

  • Your available privacy choices

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for illegal purposes.
  • Interfere with the app’s functionality or security.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to bypass technical protections.

6. Compression and Photo Changes

Smart Compress: Photo Reducer suggests compression levels and shows you estimated results, but you always remain in full control. You are responsible for reviewing the quality and the files you choose to compress or replace.

The developer is not responsible for accidental loss of quality, replacement of originals, or deletion of photos chosen by the user.

7. Data Storage

The app may store settings and temporary files locally to function correctly. Compressed photos and their processing remain on your device unless you choose to share or export them.

Backups performed by iOS or iCloud are managed solely by Apple.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for:

  • Data loss (including photos, quality changes, or replacements)
  • Device issues
  • Any damages arising from use or inability to use the app

9. Updates and Modifications

The app may receive updates for improvements or fixes. These Terms may also be updated. Continued use implies acceptance of the latest version.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may consider your license terminated if you violate these Terms, but we cannot revoke access to the app already installed under your Apple ID through the App Store.

11. Apple’s Standard EULA

By downloading Smart Compress: Photo Reducer, you also agree to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.
